The Stafford County African American History (SAAHT) driving tour was created by Discover Stafford and the African American Heritage Advisory Committee working with UMW Geography Department, to highlight the stories about the deep history of the Black population in Stafford County.
Over 20 locations and countless stories that showcase the strength and resilience of the African American community over a span of 300 years in Stafford County.
