An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who destroyed his family’s life. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires their diabolical plan for revenge. If you are looking for a haunting Halloween event, this musical is sure to satisfy.

Runs Wednesday through Sunday, times vary. Recommended for ages 13+.

🍂 FALL FARMSTAND CRAWL 🍂
Hosted by Bethel Church Homestead

Spend a fall weekend exploring 14 local farmstands across Stafford and King George Counties and supporting the farms, growers, bakers, and homesteads that help make up our local food community!

📅 Saturday, October 17th & Sunday, October 18th

The first-ever Fall Farmstand Crawl is a self-guided weekend created to connect our community with the people growing, raising, baking, and making food right here in our own backyard.

14 LOCAL FARMSTANDS ARE PARTICIPATING:

Bethel Church Homestead
The Country Corner
Burton’s Farm
Hodgepodge Homestead
Genesis Rabbitry & Farm
Warm as Wool
Powhatan Posies
Rising + Rooted Market
Breezy Meadows Farmstand
The Bachelor Farmstand
Bakers Lane Sourdough Stand
X’s & O’s Homestead Acres
Ellie’s Country Cupboard
Cow Swamp Farm

✨ HOW THE CRAWL WORKS:

Pick up a crawl map at your first stop and make your way through the participating farmstands at your own pace throughout the weekend.

Make a purchase and get your map stamped at each stop. Visit at least 10 of the 14 farmstands and you’ll be entered to win a grand prize basket filled with goods contributed by the participating stands!

Eat. Shop. Stamp. Repeat.

There’s no cost to participate in the crawl — just come out, explore some backroads, discover farmstands you may not have known were there, and support the people producing food and goods right here in our community.

Bring the family, grab a friend, and make a day (or a whole weekend!) of it. Every stop is another opportunity to shop local, support local agriculture, and get to know the people behind what you bring home.

A Christmas Carol is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most well-known story. Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island), breathe fantastic new life into the classic tale of A Christmas Carol. Proving its staying power with a decade-long run at Madison Square Garden, A Christmas Carol is an ideal musical for every generation, families, groups and any theatre goer hoping to create a holiday tradition.

Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated “Bah! Humbug!” Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he’s forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful “Happy Christmas” before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

Running for 8 weeks including a special student matinee, as well as added Friday and Saturday matinees: November 11, 2026 -January 3, 2027.

Join us on November 21 for the Stafford County Holiday Market and Tree Lighting, a festive evening for the whole family. The Artist’s Garden Film Screening
@ Gari Melchers Home and Studio
Sunday, November 22, 2 pm

Travelling to studios, gardens and iconic locations throughout the United States, UK and France, this mesmerizing documentary film is a feast for the eyes.

Taking its lead from French artists like Renoir and Monet, the American impressionist movement followed its own path which over a forty-year period reveals as much about America as a nation as it does about its art as a creative power-house. It’s a story closely tied to a love of gardens and a desire to preserve nature in a rapidly urbanizing nation. Free with registration. 87 minutes
