If you’re craving something a little more off the beaten path, Crow’s Nest Natural Area Preserve offers a more rugged experience, with trails that wind through forests and lead to stunning views of the Potomac and Accokeek Creek. It’s peaceful, it’s scenic, and its exactly what winter kept you from. 

Government Island offers walking trails with a little piece of history. Walk to scenic trail while learning about the large role Stafford played in American history.
