Stafford’s most colorful street festival is back for another year of color and fun and we are excited for you to attend! Via Colori Stafford is a free, two-day, family-friendly event, taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, and Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Stafford Commuter Lot on Courthouse Road.

When attending Stafford’s Via Colori, guests can walk among busy artists creating their chalk paintings. Ellen Killough

This year, Via Colori is excited to feature renowned artist Ellen Killough, from the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts at Auburn University. Ellen has been participating in street painting festivals for over 20 years and she works with chalk in the traditional style. Her work is figurative, expressive, and characterized by fluid lines, abrupt transitions, and unusual contrasts. Her works reside in private collections across the Southeast and along the Mid-Atlantic Coast.
