[STAFFORD, VIRGINIA] – On Monday, August 8th, Barley Naked Brewing Company took home three medals from the Virginia Craft Beer Cup, which was held at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery’s West Creek Location. Barley Naked won the Silver medal for their Rockhill Irish Red in the Irish Red Category, the Silver for their For Fox Sake Golden Lager in the Cream and Blonde Category, and the Bronze for the newest addition to their menu, the Drop your Schwarz Schwarzbier in the Dark European Lager Category. The medals are added to their growing list of accolades which include a Bronze medal from the Great American Beer Festival, winning the title of Best Brewery in Northern Virginia from Northern Virginia Magazine, as well as being voted Best Bar and Best Happy Hour Spot in Stafford Magazine, and taking the title of Best Craft Brewery in Virginia from NewsNation.
The wins came as a pleasant surprise to the Barley Naked brewing team, Brady Fox (Head brewer), and Bri Boyd (Assistant Brewer), as they knew they were up against 106 Virginia breweries with over 390 beers entered into the competition.
