Stafford County is the epicenter for one of the East Coast’s newest fishing crazes, the Northern Snakehead. The invasive fish was introduced to the Potomac River and has made its way to the creeks and tributaries in Stafford. The fish fights hard and tastes great, and because it’s not a game fish, there’s not limit. Many anglers fish for the snakehead from kayaks.
