National Trails Day: Water Trails at Widewater State Park
About:
Celebrate National Trails Day by taking a “hike” on one of Northern Virginia’s blueways. What are blueways? Hop in a kayak and paddle Aquia Creek with a ranger to learn about the growing importance of blueways, or water trails, in Virginia. Along with the paddle, your guide will point out important historic, cultural, or natural features of Widewater State Park as seen from a new perspective.
Details:
This program is limited to 10 participants, so registration is required. The cost for registration is $20 per person and includes all rental equipment and parking.
