HISTORY EVENT 10 a.m. SEPT. 4th @ AQUIA LANDING
Come out Labor Day Weekend for some family-friendly activities
(including history displays, quilting activities, storytelling and refreshments)
and see the historic marker designs being unveiled at Aquia Landing.   
Aquia was a 19th century steamship wharf, site of the Battle of Aquia Creek,
and "Gateway to Freedom" for slaves - including Henry "Box" Brown.
