Take the 2006 Stafford Business Survey! - Powered by Zarca Interactive
Dear Business Owner/Manager:
In early 2004, the Department of Economic Development, in conjunction with the University of Mary Washington’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies, conducted its first ever business community survey. Surveys were mailed to all Stafford businesses, requesting that they provide feedback on how they rate the County as a place to start, relocate, or expand a business, among other questions. Several hundred businesses responded, with good feedback about numerous matters.
Conclusions drawn from the 2004 survey were that businesses in Stafford County were generally satisfied with how the County was meeting their business needs. However, more important than the rate of satisfaction was the direction we received about what could be improved. It was this guidance that proved most useful. Equipped with this insight, many initiatives were undertaken, including a rework of our prospect/marketing package, the creation of an entirely new state-of-the-art website, the creation of a web-based small business CD, the publication of Stafford’s first ever comprehensive tourism brochure, the unveiling of a progressive multi-media marketing campaign, and the creation of the biannual newsletter.
We are now approaching you again with this biennial survey in order to continue to gauge our progress in meeting your needs and to seek your continued input. For your convenience, the survey is being mailed to each Stafford business. You can also complete this survey online by clicking here: 2006 Business Survey. Please select one method and submit the survey no later than February 10, 2005.
