Business Retention & Expansion (BRE)

The Stafford Department of Economic Development has initiated a Business Retention and Development strategy that is supporting the growth and success of businesses throughout the county.  An intensive on-site visitation program is underway and you are invited to participate.  Our goal is to connect existing businesses with the right information, resources and programs in ways that will improve the business climate.

These are a few examples of the ways we can help you establish and grow your business:

  • Looking for a single point of contact for Stafford County business services?
  • Need help scheduling your project's development review and the permit process?
  • Need an advocate within county government who can walk you through the necessary approvals and permits?
  • Need assistance identifying "who's who" in local government agencies?
