In the Commonwealth of Virginia, cities are independent from counties.  Stafford County does not have any cities, but rather is home to many small towns and communities.  Here are a few of our communities:  Aquia, Brooke, Falmouth, Garrisonville, Hartwood, Rock Hill, White Oak, and Widewater.  Much of the southern part of our county also retains a Fredericksburg mailing address.
